The Maryland Energy Administration (MEA) is helping Marylanders expand the State’s growing electric vehicle infrastructure through the Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment Tax Credit Program. With this program, residents and businesses can acquire a state income tax credit of 20% up to $400 for purchasing an electric vehicle charging station. In order to receive these credits, eligible participants must apply for a credit certificate with MEA, which will issue certificates on a first-come, first-served basis.
